PRAYER for TODAY
Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth.
Pray today that your loved ones will learn to rejoice in the truth, and never rejoice in someone else's pain... even if they "deserve it." We should all be grateful that God's mercy saves us from getting what we deserve. Pray that we will be able to lead by example in this, since this is an attitude that is often learned from adults. Pray that you will be able to see each hard situation with the truth as God sees it- as one of his children hurting, stumbling, or lost.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never Fails... 1 Cor 13:4-8a
