First Birthday

The theme of the event was based on the illustrations of Art Seiden's illustrations of the zoo
It was a small-ish party for our rather big family. Since he is the first baby of his generation, I had to come up with a party that wouldn't be a total drag for adults.

Oven Makeover

I LOVE my double oven. I mean, even though it's nearly 50 years old, it still works like a charm, and the thought of replacing it with something "affordable" makes me want to cry. But lets be honest. It was a bit of an eyesore.
I loved that it was original, and has such a cute retro panel- I just can't part with it.
So what did I do? I painted it.
