Healing Wooden Furniture Wounds with Olive Oil

This is a vintage mid-century modern table that has OBVIOUSLY seen better days.
Water stains, rings, and who knows what else, has basically ruined this table's top.
So my mom told me she heard Pam spray would remove water rings, but I don't cook with Pam, so we didn't have any. So I decided to try the olive oil Pampered Chef sprayer.
So I crossed my fingers, sprayed, and buffed.
TA- DAAA!
I buffed with a microfiber cloth first, then a paper towel (which worked much better).
(The little ring on the bottom of the picture, was above the surface so I scratched it off with my fingernail.)
