So in the spirit of keeping it real around here lately....
So I made my first ETSY sale of the new shop Tuesday night! WOOHOO! 2 adorable, hand painted, vintage, oil, German landscapes.
I sold them for $10 for the pair with $5 shipping (since my shipping calculator estimated shipping at $5.35.)
SIKE! When I took them to the Post Office this morning.... $12 for shipping!!!
Seriously, I just paid $2 for someone else to own these paintings....
Okay successful etsy sellers, how do you handle these things, how do you estimate shipping, and deal with the people who are accustomed to a world full of free shipping?
