Day 7: inspirational art

Maybe you just need a little reminder of why you are doing what you are doing.
Surround yourself with inspiration in your home, so that you and your family can be encouraged through out the day.

I am having a couch reupholstered for our living room, so I have procrastinated decorating that side of the room. So there was literally nothing on that wall. It looked weird. Well I am having my friends from work over for a Christmas party, so I knew I couldn't just have and ugly blank wall, but I needed some art fast- like 10 minutes fast.

Paint By Numbers

I had the day off today, so I decided to head out to a local antique & flea mall. It's a great way for me to slip away for a few hours. I love antiques, I always have. As a little girl my favorite thing to do when I visited my Nana was to go to a thrift store near her house and spend my pocket change on treasures from the past.
I am primarily obsessed with things from the 1950s-1960s... milk glass, kitsch, quilts, and paint by numbers, just to name a few. Today I found a two little golden nuggets, which happened to be 50% off!!
